Inspiration Teaching Words of Life

Don’t Give Up on Life!

fainted

Sometimes life gets hard! Usually at first, we struggle to fix what’s broken, whether the trouble we are experiencing is with our job, family, friends, finances, or failing health. When our efforts and plans don’t seem to be working out, we urgently turn to God for help and start praying. As time goes on, and our prayers seem to go unanswered, and additional problems arise, we forget about waiting on God, and we become discouraged. Our thoughts and feelings tell us life will never improve, and that positive change will not take place.  Then these negative thought patterns effortlessly escort us into an overwhelmed and hopeless state about our life’s situation and future.  This is the path that leads to emotional and spiritual defeat.

Quite the opposite is God’s plan for our path to overcoming victory!   We must set our hearts on Him, and believe [lean on, rely on and confidently trust] in the Lord’s goodness, kindness, and tender mercy towards us, His children. These positive thoughts and beliefs will help stabilize our faith! Jesus is the Light that burst through the gloom! He loves us unconditionally, more than we can comprehend, and He is always working out goodness towards us. Sometimes this is hard to grasp, because of our fear, and because we cannot see the whole, big picture.

God’s Logos promises to us are the ‘Living Expression’ of His Light, Love, and Truth. Jesus gave his life, as a light for all humanity to embrace, and discover who He really is- the Savior that is the lover of our soul! We can always count on His honesty and faithfulness to fulfill what He said His will do for us. Those who embrace him and take hold of his Name have the authority to become who they really are- the sons of God! We must be brave and hold on with good courage during the hard times and believe He will liberate us! Even though we cannot comprehend or figure out how life is going to work out, we must wait and hope and expect the Lord to do His majestic work in our lives. Then, while we are waiting, hoping, and expecting the Lord to help us, He will lift us up to the spiritual place where negativity is defeated and positive Truth is embraced and manifested- We will believe and “we will see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living”.

Psalm 27:13-14 amp.

[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.
