Inspiration Teaching Words of Life

Simply Trusting

trust in god

Even though most of us work hard at planning and ordering our lives, sometimes the challenge of life’s  changing circumstances seems too difficult to figure out. When unpredictable and unexpected situations seem to flood into our lives, the only way to step forward with a calm and peaceful heart, soul, and mind is by simply trusting in Jesus. Simple trust is when we place confidence in our Lord’s good qualities, especially in his faithful love, truth, favor, power and gracious ability to work good into our lives, even in the middle of less than perfect and overwhelming circumstances.

When we suddenly get hit by unforeseen circumstances, we may feel overwhelmed, afraid or helpless as to what we need to say or do. Yet when this sense of helplessness hits, we must realize that the situation is too unpredictable and too much for us to figure out alone,  and we must turn to Jesus for help.

When our focus gets off figuring and onto trusting we will profess: “I stand silently to listen for the One I love, waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me and work my overwhelming circumstances out, for God alone is my Savior, He alone is my safe place. His wrap-around presence always protects me, for he is my Champion Defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles seem to multiply around me? For the Lord is my Hero, and my life-giving strength. “

Join me, everyone! Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and Pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you-he will help you! This one thing is true: With God on our side, I will not be afraid of what comes! And I will always triumph as I trust his promises. Our heart overflows with praise to God and for His promises. We will always trust in Him. Our heart is quiet and confident, as we leave our cares at the feet of the Lord. Even in the middle of unpredictable circumstances, our hope and trust is in you oh God!
