The Great Day of Christ Return

reward

Today, many Christians believe we are living in the end times of the age, and the return of Jesus Christ is close at hand. But many Christians who lived in long past generations believed they were living in the end times, and Jesus Christ return was close. Yet, regarding the time of His return, Jesus spoke this truth to His disciples, “Concerning that day and exact hour, no one knows when it will arrive, and not even the angels of heaven-only the Father knows”.

But what we do know, without a shadow of a doubt is that He Will Return! With the loud blast of the trumpet, the Son of Man will be revealed with mighty power, great splendor, and glory.  We also know that those who love and yearn for and welcome our Beloved Lord Jesus’ appearing will be rewarded.

In fact, all that have served the Lord while in union with Him, drawing from His grace, walking in the Spirit, with a loving heart and pure motives will be greatly rewarded. Jesus said, “When you cared for one of the least important of these my little ones, my true brothers and sisters, you demonstrated love for me.”

Jesus also said, “Eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for them that love Him”. So many wonderful promises and rewards for those who have surrendered their life to the living God!  Jesus said, “Whoever loses his life for my sake, will find out what true life is all about.” Anything you have suffered, given up, or lost for Christ sake will not be overlooked by the great I AM, but you will be greatly recompensed with abundant reward. Jesus gives us such great incentive to take up our cross, and follow Him!

So for all who love, yearn for, and welcome the return of the Beloved Savior- “Stand and Look up, for your redemption draweth nigh”.

“Henceforth there is laid up for me the [victor’s crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will reward to me and recompense me on that [great] day- and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and yearned for and welcomed His appearing (His return)” ll Timothy 4:8.
